Monday, October 20, 2008Meadowlark Family Day Announced
Meadowlark Log Homes is happy to announce our Meadowlark Family Day on July 11 and 12, 2008. Log home builder/ dealers, local Meadowlark builders, craftsmen, employees, wives, and children will gather for an evening barbecue on Friday, July 11. It is a yearly event to stimulate friendship, fun, food, and family among all those associated with the Meadowlark business. We call them the Meadowlark family, because they make it possible for us to produce high quality log homes for people to live in and enjoy for generations.
On Saturday, July 12, breakfast will be served, and Meadowlark's vision will be shared with the Builder/ Dealers and local builders. Following this, there is a time of sharing things we all learned in the past year or past several months, and how we can make the next twelve months an even better experience for our customers.

Sunday, June 01, 2008Why Choose Meadowlark Log Homes?
The following is an answer to a question I was asked of why choose Meadowlark Log Homes rather than other companies? Here was my answer:
Hi Jonathon,
I suggest for anyone to spend some time on our website to get a better idea of what makes Meadowlark Log Homes stand out. There are lots of great log home companies out there who tend to copy each other. We really stand alone in the Amish- made log home where we can actually claim centuries of handcrafting in our family. This is who we are.
A few main points is our simplicity of construction that is in many ways, very different from anybody else, the flat on flat being unique with virtually no one else doing it. After over a thousand log homes behind us, in most cases if someone visits us they will be confident in going with our company. Price is a factor, generally about 15%- 40% less expensive for the comparible product. Why our lower cost?
We have mostly our own people working who know what they're doing, and our system is about 2 to 3 times faster to build than any other handcraft method.
Every log in every log house we produce is Log Homes Council certified, grade stamped, and will pass every state's structural requirement. Our engineering easily exceeds the toughest Califorrnia counties for earthquake........
Our reputation wherever we've built our log homes has always been oustanding.
